A weathered log lies washed ashore at Tobico Beach on the southern end of Lake Huron's frozen Saginaw Bay, near Bay City, Michigan. This image is a composite, blending more than one photograph, and was processed with textures and other digital techniques for enhanced artistic effect.

About Wes Iversen
Welcome to my library of photos on FineArtAmerica and Pixels.com. After six years as a Chicago area transplant living in East Central Michigan, I returned in 2022 to to a new home in the far Northwest Chicago suburbs. I enjoyed my time in Michigan, where I had the opportunity to photograph local wildlife, especially the birds and waterfowl in State Parks and preserves that were near my home.
