Description
It may look like a chaotic jumble of twisted sheet metal and misaligned openings, but underneath lies the event center where many a celebrity has attended fund raisers aimed at advancing the state of brain research. The Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, houses clinical facilities for the treatment and study of Alzheimer's and other brain diseases. Designed by Canadian-born architect Frank Gehry, the Ruvo Center opened for patient care in July, 2009, and was completed in May, 2010.
