Black-capped Chickadees (Poecile atricapillus) don't stay in one place for long, but I managed to capture this one as it perched for a moment at the very top of a protrusion on an old broken tree.

Welcome to my library of photos on FineArtAmerica and Pixels.com. After six years as a Chicago area transplant living in East Central Michigan, I returned in 2022 to to a new home in the far Northwest Chicago suburbs. I enjoyed my time in Michigan, where I had the opportunity to photograph local wildlife, especially the birds and waterfowl in State Parks and preserves that were near my home.
