Artist's Description
In American rodeo bull riding, a rider must stay on the back of a bucking bull for at least eight seconds while touching the bull with only one hand. Judges score the rider based on ability and they score the bull based on bucking performance to produce a combined score for the ride. Cowboys who touch the bull with their free hand or fail to reach the eight-second mark receive no score.
This ride was photographed during the Super Kicker Rodeo at the 2018 Oakland County Fair, in Davisburg, Michigan.

About Wes Iversen
Welcome to my library of photos on FineArtAmerica and Pixels.com. After six years as a Chicago area transplant living in East Central Michigan, I returned in 2022 to to a new home in the far Northwest Chicago suburbs. I enjoyed my time in Michigan, where I had the opportunity to photograph local wildlife, especially the birds and waterfowl in State Parks and preserves that were near my home. But I’m now also enjoying the opportunity to explore the environs near my new location. Indeed, I see beauty and interesting things to photograph almost everywhere that I go. You'll find evidence of that here in the variety of the images and photographic styles that I have chosen to present. The bulk of the images in this collection have been taken...
